How do I enroll in one of your courses using the 100% Military Tuition Assistance program?

Enrolling in a course using Military Tuition Assistance is easy and can be done by calling Allied directly at (888) 501-5221. You must register for the online or military correspondence course, fill out your branch’s Tuition Assistance forms and have them authorized through your servicing education center or by your ESO. Please fax the Tuition Assistance Authorization voucher to (949) 916-0375 to finalize your enrollment.

Can I still take your military course if I'm always being transferred or waiting to be deployed?

Absolutely! The great thing about taking an Allied military course is that you can study via military distance learning anytime, at any location. The convenient online military courses and laptop computer (available with most career training programs) make it easy to train for a new career anywhere in the world. You don’t need to delay enrollment because you are being transferred or possibly deployed. Allied’s flexible programs enable you to start or continue your education regardless of your location. Whether you are located in the United States or another country, you are in charge.

Why should I take a military distance learning course instead of a live class?

Distance education allows you to get your career training on your own terms. You can study when you have time from any location in the world. Gone are the days when you needed to rush home from a hard day's work just to get to a crowded classroom on time. With Allied's military distance learning courses, you don't need to pay for babysitting, parking, extra gas, and you don’t have to waste your time. You can choose the hours that you study and set the pace of your online military education. The Student Services Department is available through e-mail, phone and fax to provide support every step of the way.

Is Allied an accredited military school online? What does this mean for me?

Yes, Allied is nationally accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). The Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally-recognized accrediting agency.

Accreditation means that your online and military correspondence education meets the standards set up by an accrediting organization and that you are receiving a high-quality education. It "assures students that the institution operates on a sound financial basis, has an approved program of study, qualified instructors, adequate facilities and equipment, approved recruitment and admissions policies, and advertises its courses truthfully."

Do I need to first talk to my ESO officer about enrolling or can I just enroll in a military course?

We recommend that you contact Allied first to discuss your options. We will go over the course requirements with you and get you registered for the course. Our representatives will instruct you what forms need to be filled out and how the enrollment process works. Once you have all the necessary course information, you will then proceed to get the Military Tuition Assistance forms approved. We will assist you with the entire process, from beginning to end.
