Allied’s Introduction to Photovoltaic Systems is the ideal way to start a career in solar electric technology. You'll develop basic knowledge of photovoltaic systems based on the learning objectives of the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Entry-Level Exam. Understand PV performance characteristics and range of response to environmental conditions, and be prepared to maintain and troubleshoot PV systems.

The course will prepare you to take the NABCEP PV Entry Level Exam. This exam is aimed at students wanting to enter the solar photovoltaic field in an entry-level capacity. 100% Tuition Assistance for Active Duty (for most programs)Successful Entry Level PV test takers will be presented with a suitable-for-framing Passing Score Achievement document. The document clearly articulates that the recipient has demonstrated their basic knowledge of the principals of the application, design, installation and operation of off-grid and grid-tie solar electric systems.
